On the way to the Basin you walk
through a maze of trails surrounded by water.
There are several natural wadding
pools.
I got to the Basin early before
anyone got there.
I have to get back here in the spring
to see all the runoff from the snow melting.
The stone has been sculpted by the
water.
As interesting as the Basin is, it's
a small part of the overall beauty.The two pictures below are the same except for the settings on the camera and lighting.

I got up at sunrise to get this one
when the lighting was right. The shutter speed was set to one second for the effect.
Taffy couldn't read the "No Swimming"
sign.
